About the Role

As a Sales Manager at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for leading a team of Client Managers in achieving sales targets and driving business growth. The role requires a strong background in sales, with experience in managing and coaching teams to deliver results.

The Sales Manager will work closely with the local VP Sales and decision-makers to develop a local sales strategy that aligns with the regional organizational sales plan. This will involve defining the sales approach, setting targets, and ensuring the implementation of sales procedures and policies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing a local sales strategy that delivers the strategic objectives outlined in the regional organizational sales plan.
  2. Defining the sales approach and setting targets for the Client Managers.
  3. Ensuring the effective implementation of sales procedures and policies.
  4. Driving alignment to the sales and organizational strategies by creating operational plans and identifying areas for continuous improvement in the sales process.
  5. Engaging in account planning and assisting Client Managers in opportunity qualification for large or complex deals.
  6. Collaborating with the account team to leverage NTT DATA capabilities and create a strong client satisfaction journey.
  7. Acting as a coach and advisor to assist Client Managers and the Sales Team in setting and achieving priority activities.
  8. Taking final responsibility for the update and accuracy of sales systems, sales reports, and sales forecast.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or technology field or equivalent.
  • Extended relevant experience in a similar role within the ICT market (preferably system integration business).
  • Strong experience in managing and coaching a sales team.
  • Extended experience dealing with clients and engaging with different stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Able to work in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce.
  • Business acumen.
  • Strong capabilities in motivating people and managing complex negotiations.
