About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our Italian Sales Team at NTT DATA. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of Client Managers and driving sales targets and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement local sales strategies to achieve regional organisational sales plans.
- Define and determine targets for Client Managers, providing coaching and support to ensure success.
- Ensure sales procedures and policies are implemented and followed by the sales team.
- Drive alignment to sales and organisational strategies through operational planning and process improvement.
- Engage in account planning and assist Client Managers in qualifying opportunities for large or complex deals.
- Collaborate with the account team to leverage NTT DATA capabilities and create a strong client satisfaction journey.
- Provide coaching and advising to Client Managers and the sales team to set and achieve priority activities.
- Take final responsibility for the accuracy and update of sales systems, reports, and forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or technology field or equivalent.
- Extended relevant experience in similar roles within the ICT market, preferably system integration business.
- Strong experience in managing and coaching sales teams.
- Extended experience dealing with clients and engaging with different stakeholders and decision makers.
- Able to work in a multinational environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce.
- Business acumen.
- Strong capabilities in motivating people and managing complex negotiations.
