Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International HR Manager to join our team in Milan. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our organization's international and programmatic goals.
Key Responsibilities- HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's international and programmatic goals.
- Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process for international staff, ensuring that all hiring practices comply with local labor laws and regulations.
- Talent Management: Develop and execute talent management strategies, including staff development, training programs, and career progression for international employees.
- Compliance: Ensure that HR policies and procedures comply with local labor laws in the countries where the organization operates, with the assistance of local consultants.
- Coordination: Collaborate with local HR teams in each country to harmonize HR practices and policies.
- Safety & Wellbeing: Ensure staff safety and wellbeing, particularly in high-risk areas, by overseeing policies related to health, security, and psychosocial support.
- Staff Cost Control: Monitor the cost of personnel, overseeing and regulating expenses related to employee wages, benefits, and other associated costs.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in international or non-profit settings.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Relations, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Skills: Strong understanding of international labor laws and HR compliance, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fluency in English, and proficiency in additional languages (e.g., French, Spanish) is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: High level of cultural sensitivity and adaptability, strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
