Agency Development Manager

Amazon Ads is committed to delivering measurable outcomes for brand advertisers and agencies. Our comprehensive ad solutions, including display, video, audio, and custom ads, leverage Amazon's innovations and insights to find, engage, and attract intended audiences throughout their daily journeys.

The Agency Development Managers (ADM) are single-threaded owners responsible for relationships with our largest agency customers. They own the Amazon Advertising/Agency Holding Company relationship at the most senior level. ADMs are tasked with accelerating Amazon Advertising revenue, increasing Amazon Ads tool adoption, and increasing penetration of the total advertiser universe in each agency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute a detailed engagement strategy to C-Level, SVP/VP-Level, and influencers/decision makers of all sizes within the agency, handling complex discussions.
  2. Create and execute cross-team project plans to drive business growth.
  3. Design commercial structures to create incremental opportunities for growth on branding solutions, focusing on video-centric solutions.
  4. Lead education and enablement of key agency functions, including delivery of training, roadshows, summits, and other agency-wide events.
  5. Collaborate with key agency stakeholders to develop business plans that drive adoption of Amazon Advertising's tools and products.
  6. Leverage key advertisers at the agency to increase revenue across multiple Amazon Ads products.
  7. Partner with global teams to identify transformative opportunities for agency partnerships.
  8. Report on program and project progress and status consistently and transparently.
  9. Work across multiple resources and orchestrate multiple activities to achieve results.
Requirements:
  1. Strong business leader with a deep understanding of the Advertising Landscape.
  2. Relevant years of B2B sales experience.
  3. Prior experience in agency development, business development, partnerships, or sales at a major media company and/or experience working in a 'Big 6' Holding Company.
  4. Domain expertise in digital advertising with a focus on Streaming TV/Linear TV/Video.
  5. Experience in Media Buying or Selling (Connected TV, Linear TV, Video Strategies).
  6. Established relationships at, and/or deep understanding of, 'Big 6' Holding Companies.
  7. Experience in agency stakeholder relationship management (particularly across Strategy, Planning, and Investment functions), translating their business needs into revenue-driving opportunities for mutual success.
  8. Thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment, adept at dealing with ambiguity, and possesses good communication and presentation skills.
  9. Strong analytical abilities and confidence in the use of data.
  10. Advanced level of English and Italian.
  11. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  12. MBA preferred.
  13. Experience working in global media companies.
