Position Overview:

Arcadis Italy is actively seeking a Change, Risk & Document Control Consultant to join an essential international project within the Data Center industry, reporting directly to the Lead Contract Administrator. This role involves guiding project modifications and managing related procedures in collaboration with the Project Manager, ensuring the successful completion of change order documentation, assessing and valuing all modifications, and advising the client on cost implications prior to execution.

The consultant will also be responsible for ensuring timely agreement on cost changes and compiling the necessary documentation for each change item to reach consensus with both the employer and contractor on a monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Change and Risk Management activities. Collaborate with the lead contract administrator and client to oversee project modifications. Manage changes from the General/Main Contractor and vendors from initiation to final payments. Draft and negotiate commercial agreements for all change orders in accordance with the change management process. Identify, assess, and communicate project risks effectively. Oversee document management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive document control system (procedures, workflows, guidelines). Establish a centralized document repository and filing system.

Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in roles such as Contract Administrator, Risk & Change Specialist, or similar positions; A BSc or MSc degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field; Proficiency in contracts and project management principles; Familiarity with standard engineering and construction practices, techniques, and procedures; Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
