Fixed Network Expansion Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Fixed Network Expansion Manager to join our team at Vodafone Group. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the governance and project management of long- and short-term expansion plans for fixed access network resources.
Main Responsibilities:
- Track and report on the overall fixed network expansion plans.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are acting in line with agreed delivery times, plans, and budgets.
- Promote and escalate as necessary to remove criticalities.
- Conduct kick-off meetings with involved groups.
- Monitor and model resource occupancy, available capacity, utilization, and evolution over time, providing regular reporting.
- Proactively identify actions to optimize the use of fixed access network resources without compromising service quality.
- Provide input to engineering teams on estimating traffic growth impacts on core network elements and contribute to budget definition processes.
- Order wholesale network resources required for capacity expansion and track their delivery.
Key Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of the telecommunications market.
- In-depth experience in telecommunications technology and knowledge of fixed access network technologies and topologies.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Technical experience in multinational companies and large matrix organizations.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-changing environment.
Requirements:
- High-level degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience within the networks function.
- Fluent English language proficiency.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is around €80,000 - €100,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
