Senior Sales Manager for Molecular Diagnostics

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading innovator in the field of molecular diagnostics, dedicated to improving health outcomes worldwide. The company is passionate about empowering individuals and healthcare professionals with cutting-edge technology.

About the Role

As a seasoned sales leader, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and profitability in Italy. You will collaborate with the Country Manager to implement the commercial strategy, ensuring both revenue and profitability goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Country Manager to develop and implement the commercial strategy
  • Mentor and coach the sales team to foster their skills and expertise
  • Establish sales objectives for assigned regions and develop annual sales quotas
  • Forecast sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Lead the implementation of a Sales Force Effectiveness program to improve sales reporting structure and financial reporting formats
  • Conduct strategic account reviews to uncover potential for growth and market expansion
About You

A seasoned sales leader with a minimum of 5+ years of success managing teams within the molecular diagnostics field. Proven experience in launching and commercialising a broad portfolio of products. Strong business development skills, with excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities. A self-starter with a strong sense of initiative. Willingness to travel extensively (40-50% of the time).
