Regional Business Development Manager

We are expanding our presence in Italy and seeking a skilled Regional Business Development Manager to drive growth in the region. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a business plan that aligns with Lotus Bakeries' strategy, fostering strong commercial relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute an account plan in line with Lotus Bakeries' strategy, focusing on building a strong commercial relationship with customers.
- Translate the brand strategy at the customer level, utilizing growth pillars such as range, shelf, promotions, and displays.
- Communicate national marketing initiatives that contribute to the growth of Lotus Bakeries' volumes.
- Optimize return on budget and resources.
- Monitor and manage administrative, logistical, or financial issues encountered by customers in close consultation with the sales assistant.
- Develop and implement a profitable price, packaging, and promotional strategy.
- Maintain relationships and contract management to achieve commercial objectives and make responsible decisions regarding budget and resources.
- Collaborate with Category Management to develop and implement key levers that enable business growth.
- Work closely with field sales to translate range and promotional initiatives into clear KPIs.
- Build and maintain an effective network within the FMCG market.
- Analyze and translate relevant market data.
- Establish sustainable customer relationships, requiring strong analytical skills, proactive thinking, and a hands-on mentality, along with a team player profile.
- Efficiently communicate commercial information to internal or external stakeholders.
Required qualifications include a university degree (Bachelor or Master) in an economic direction, knowledge of Italian trade structure, understanding of sales process dynamics, and good knowledge of IRI/GFK execution.
Fluency in written and spoken Italian is essential, with a good understanding of English (written and spoken). Based in or around Naples, the successful candidate will be required to travel extensively (70%).
