Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, maintaining, and responding to abnormal conditions in facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, building monitoring, and control.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, and building monitoring systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility systems, including generators, UPS, and low-voltage distribution.
  • Manage suppliers and services, and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards, and implement improvement plans and small projects.
Requirements
  • Technical education (advanced technician or engineer level) in one of the following areas: Electricity (generators, UPS, low voltage distribution), climate, and cooling.
  • Knowledge of fire protection and physical security (access control, video, and intrusion detection systems) or central building management systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in operating data centers or similar environments.
  • Versatile technical knowledge, especially in the areas of operation, maintenance, and inspection of critical systems.
  • English and Italian - The minimum level required is B1.
