We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our local People Team in Milan. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and development.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development.
- Prepare employment offer letters, contracts, and other HR-related documents.
- Oversee the correct flow of information within Workday, our HR system, related to employee data, contracts, and compensation.
- Monitor and manage overtime and absence, ensuring compliance with the National Labor Contract.
- Collaborate with our CoEs in the UK Headquarters, including the payroll team, central people operations team, and comp&ben team.
- Support employees with HR-related queries and needs through ServiceNow.
- Process reports on employee headcount and administration.
- Partner with site management to identify capability gaps and implement solutions.
- Proactively identify engagement gaps and implement solutions to address.
- Partner with site management on workforce planning, ensuring our recruitment team is aware of demand and all sites are staffed appropriately.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in People administration and Operations areas.
- Knowledge of Italian Labor law and CCNL Commercio.
- Knowledge of Workday HRIS and ServiceNow is a significant plus.
- Precise, punctual, and flexible with a spirit of adaptation in a dynamic reality.
- Ability to work in a team and relate to any level of the company.
- Fluent in English, as you will also deal with the central People team based in London.
- Significant experience in start-ups, retail/distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Takes initiative, acts with confidence, and works under their own direction.
- Friendly and approachable communication style.
