Job Summary

RINA is seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector - Engineering Services to join its team in Italy. As a key member of the Infrastructure Division, this role will focus on ensuring that construction projects meet all regulatory and safety standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Evaluate the quality of workmanship and materials used in construction projects.
  • Identify and report any deviations from project plans and specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations on construction sites.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Keep accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections.
  • Stay current with industry standards, codes, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to construction teams to enhance overall project quality.
  • Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA Quality Management System.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or General Studies.
  • High School Diploma/GED in General Studies or Other Competencies.
