As a Sales Account Manager at Molex, you will be responsible for driving commercial and technical communication between Molex and customers throughout the product lifecycle. This includes promoting concepts, negotiating prices, and reviewing forecasts and revenue plans. You will also be responsible for qualifying awarded development programs and supporting the generation and reporting of sales metrics.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive commercial and technical communication between Molex and customers
* Drive sales process through RFI/RFQ, price negotiations, and revenue plans
* Qualify awarded development programs
* Support sales metrics generation and reporting
* Collaborate with internal resources
* Establish primary Molex contact for assigned accounts
* Provide Molex with direct understanding of customer needs and requirements

Requirements

* Master of Science in Physics/Engineering, preferably with specialization in Optical Communications and related technologies
* Proven technical marketing and/or sales experience in Optical Communications and/or Electronics industry
* Experience in sales management roles or equivalent job experience in supporting product lifecycle from design to production
* Experience of multi-cultural, remote team collaboration
* Understanding of optical communication industry trends and technologies
* Understanding of sales management IT tools and related processes
* Self-organization of time and priorities
* Structured decision-making process
* Respectful and effective communication in complex teams
* Attitude to drive programs with focus to objectives
* Capability to negotiate conflicting product/commercial requirements
* Proactivity to seek support and provide feedback
