Compliance Quality Assurance Senior Expert

Job Description:

As a key member of the Compliance Quality Assurance Team at ING, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our compliance processes and controls. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying and mitigating compliance risks, and in supporting the development of our compliance training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quality assurance activities to ensure the effectiveness of our controls and processes.
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for the local and global CQA community.
  • Support the development of risk assessments and reporting, and contribute to the identification of compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with the Business Line and Global Compliance Quality Assurance teams to ensure the quality of our QA activities.
  • Use data analytics skills to support the development of our compliance programs.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Compliance or Audit within the Banking/Financial Services Industry.
  • University degree or equivalent.
Technical, Language and Other Specialized Skills:
  • Excellent level of English (verbal/written).
  • Proactive, open-minded with problem-solving attitude and in-depth knowledge of banking processes.
  • Firm when needed, and able to show flexibility when possible.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across functional lines.
  • Relevant knowledge of risks and related assessment.
  • Investigative mindset, with an understanding of control methodologies.
  • Data analytical skills and sound judgement.
