Job Description:

As a key member of the Compliance Quality Assurance Team at ING, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our compliance processes and controls. Your primary responsibility will be to perform quality assurance activities, including independent testing and thematic reviews, to identify and mitigate compliance risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute quality assurance plans to ensure the effectiveness of our compliance controls.
  • Conduct independent testing and reviews to identify compliance risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in European investor protection regulations, including MiFID II and IDD.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance team to develop and implement training programs for the CQA community.
  • Support the development of risk assessments and reporting to the Head Office.
  • Use data analytics skills to identify trends and areas for improvement in our compliance processes.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Compliance or Audit within the Banking/Financial Services Industry.
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent level of English (verbal/written).
  • Proactive, open-minded, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across functional lines.
  • Relevant knowledge of risks and related assessment.
  • Investigative mindset with an understanding of control methodologies.
