We are seeking a skilled Claims Analyst / Adjuster to enhance your proficiency in managing intricate claims.

Your Role in Creating Impact
- This position focuses on Financial Lines, presenting an excellent opportunity to cultivate your expertise in managing and investigating complex claims. The objective is to address legitimate claims through a proactive, best practice approach, aligned with AIG's quality standards – you will actively promote and embody the principles of 'Treating Customers Fairly' in claims management.
- You will also consistently identify and evaluate suspect or fraudulent claims, addressing them in accordance with our clear guidelines.
- Your responsibilities will involve regular interaction with internal stakeholders and brokers, (medical) experts, clients' attorneys, victims, or their legal representatives. Building effective relationships with both internal and external customers is essential, as you will serve as a point of referral.
- This role offers the chance to expand your experience by supporting Team Managers and stepping in during their absence. For instance, you will assist in monitoring market and industry practices in claims management.
- Additionally, you can leverage the claims experience you acquire to enhance our products in collaboration with underwriting colleagues.
Qualifications for Success
- In-depth knowledge of legal, regulatory, and litigation requirements specific to Financial Lines.
- Specialized understanding of technical claims topics related to Financial Lines.
- Experience in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret policy language accurately and consistently.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the capacity to develop innovative ideas to enhance working practices.
- Strong communication, time management, administrative, and report-writing abilities.
