About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to drive our B2B Sales and Sourcing activities in Italy. As Director of B2B Sales and Sourcing, you will be responsible for growing our merchant business, managing commercial teams, and optimizing merchant-related processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow the Merchant business both topline and bottom line, i.e. total units and revenue traded and overall profitability
  • Manage and develop commercial teams both in-house and on the field, with a strong focus on acquiring new accounts and increasing market penetration
  • Handle and optimize all merchant-related processes and play voice of the customer to inform product development towards a better customer satisfaction
  • Own sales strategy, forecasting and quota assignment. Guarantee correct reporting and ensure targets are met or exceeded
  • Manage a team of 80+ FTEs
  • Attend conferences and events and elevate the company's brand recognition by coordinating local Communication and Marketing activities
Requirements
  • 10 plus year of work experience of which 5+ years in leadership roles in sales
  • Strong and highly strategic problem solver with ability to drive detailed cross-functional projects, strong analytical skills and fast decision-making
  • Strategic seller able to solve client problems through consultative approach
  • Master excellent verbal and written communication in English and Italian
  • Preferred previous experience in consulting or strategy roles
  • Preferred experience with Gap Selling, Challenger Sales and Predictable Revenue approaches
