Job Summary

The Social Hub is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations in Florence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence, managing a team of chefs, and collaborating with our F&B Director to develop innovative menus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain culinary standards, cost control, and menu development in collaboration with the F&B Director.
  • Manage, train, and recruit a team of chefs to ensure a high-performing and passionate kitchen team.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with food suppliers, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure a smooth and profitable overall operation.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant management experience in various kitchens, preferably internationally.
  • Excellent knowledge and passion for local cuisine.
  • Excellent planning skills, fluent in English and Italian.
  • Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Proactive, innovative mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
