About the Role:

JBAndrews is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team and drive growth in Contract Logistics & Freight Forwarding. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global provider of specialist Contract Logistics & Freight Forwarding across multiple customer sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in Contract Logistics products across Retail, Fashion, Consumer, Technology, & Industrial verticals in Italy.
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with key stakeholders to secure sales growth and align the business with strategic intents.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop solutions to meet customer needs, working closely with the solutions design and operations departments.
  • Lead cost-cutting exercises and generate new business to foster long-term growth at corporate, local, and international levels.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Contract Logistics & SCM, with a strong background in sales and commercial leadership.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and ensuring logistical aspects are satisfied on a day-to-day and strategic level.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience on an international level and team responsibility.
  • Ability to manage small to large-sized customer accounts and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Grassroots experience in logistics environments, with a strong understanding of various disciplines and locations.
