Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our UPS Healthcare division. As a key member of our team, you'll drive sales initiatives for top-priority UPS Healthcare products, building a pipeline and securing new revenue for our Warehousing & Distribution services in Italy.

About the Role

In this role, you'll work closely with our Enterprise and Small Medium Business sales teams to generate and qualify leads, receive and work leads from European and Global Sales partners, source and develop client referrals, and develop and maintain a customer pipeline using Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Receive and work leads from European and Global Sales partners
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Develop and maintain a customer pipeline using Salesforce
  • Prepare sales action plans and strategies
  • Schedule sales activity
  • Lead and deliver commercial proposal development working with a tender management team
  • Negotiate and agree commercial terms with the client, and conclude legal contracts
  • Contribute to strategic considerations for UPS Healthcare, identifying and sharing insight gained from clients and other market contacts

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor or master, preferably in business or supply chain management
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Logistic Industry, preferable in different roles
  • Knowledge of Healthcare & Pharma Logistics
  • Thorough knowledge of warehousing & distribution
  • Proven Sales track record and appetite for new business acquisition
  • Fluent Italian & English language speaking and writing proficiency
  • Working skills in other languages beneficial
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to support development of products and services
  • Broad management skills
  • Sound commercial & financial understanding
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Flexible attitude
