Product Manager and Computational Designer

Responsibilities:
Manage the product backlog, develop user stories, and engage in scrum events and regular meetings to prioritize product features and roadmap. Provide constructive feedback to programming and design teams. Act as a Computational Designer focusing on system learning and processing. Collaborate with fellow Product Owners, engage in strategic prototyping before requirement implementation, and facilitate communication with the product design team to integrate their requirements into a cohesive system-level framework. Make significant contributions to software development, particularly within the Milan BIM Structures group. Work collaboratively with both UX and C++ teams, create prototypes using Grasshopper, and delegate tasks for effective feature execution. Participate in the design of hardware features, creating prototypes and collaborating with product designers across various locations to achieve optimal prefab products. Engage in designing core structural components of our products, including connections, materials, and the structuring of walls and waffle slabs, among others.Requirements:
A minimum of 2+ years of experience with 3D design software (such as Autocad, Revit, Sketchup, ArchiCad, Rhino). Proven experience in Computational Design. At least 3 years of experience working with prefabricated systems. Ideal backgrounds may include: - Product designer for mass-produced, prefabricated systems (e.g., furniture, windows, or temporary constructions for events) - Architect or Engineer with experience in Residential, Infrastructure, or Facades design. - Any experience in a Product Design discipline that includes elements of product manufacturing will be considered advantageous.The Ideal Candidate will embody our core values:
