Data Center Facilities Engineer

At Salute, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Facilities Engineer to join our team in Milan. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate, monitor, and maintain data center systems, including electrical distribution, mechanical equipment, and fire suppression systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on data center equipment, including generators, UPS systems, and switchgear.
- Conduct regular inspections of data center systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve data center operations.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
- Technical trade school degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, UPS systems, and switchgear.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
