About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technician to join our Data Center Engineering Operations team in Italy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining our data center infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, UPS, distribution panels, and HVAC systems.
  • Manage and supervise facility monitoring and supervision, including BMS and PMS systems.
  • Participate in the delivery of build-out and retrofit of data center infrastructure.
  • Ensure organizational capability to react and respond to potential customer-impacting events.
  • Review incident reports, document trend summaries, and provide updates to management.
Requirements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Apprentice/trades certified or diploma in an Electrical field.
  • Demonstrate key electrical competencies (practice and theory).
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems (mechanical, HVAC systems, controls).
  • Ability to draft accurate support procedures, compile system documentation, and issue tracking entries.
  • Ability to take full ownership of technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in operations and on-call support for data center facilities or mission-critical plants/production facilities.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field (EE, MechE, IndustrialE).
  • Project Management experience.
