Job Description

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Technical Field Application Engineer to join our team in Italy. As a Graduate Technical Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to customers, assisting them in designing and developing custom solutions that meet their unique specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical knowledge and guidance to customers on Arrow's products, services, and solutions.
  • Help customers troubleshoot technical issues and offer practical solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Assist customers in designing and developing custom solutions that meet their unique specifications.
  • Engage suppliers to assist with product validation to ensure that the products meet the customer's requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and suppliers, ensuring that the customer's requirements are understood and met.
  • Suggest mechanical solutions and techniques that can benefit the overall cost of the Bills Of Material (BOM) or improve availability of parts in respect to lead times.
Requirements:
  • You must have a legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
  • You have obtained or will obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering related studies in 2024 or not more than 2 years ago.
  • Business fluent Italian AND English (oral & written).
  • Sound knowledge of concepts in Electronics Engineering.
  • Good understanding of latest technologies and trends in the market.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, be able to interact proactively with the team and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn new platforms and systems with an innovative approach.
  • Developing of customized specifications utilizing 3D software like AutoCAD, Solidworks, Inventor... is strongly recommended.
  • Support customers' designers with technical proposals within specific macro-technologies.
  • Mechatronics & Mechanical degree are highly considered.
  • You must be flexible and have geographical mobility.
  • Creative, outside-the-box thinker who brings something new to the table and is not afraid to share those ideas.
  • A real and innate passion to learn new technologies, a strong attitude for new and different challenges, be the best in what you learn.
