Position Overview

We are in search of a Security Topic Leader with a strong emphasis on Mainframe and Cloud technologies, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This position will act as the primary expert and point of contact within a global team focused on safeguarding and evaluating intricate computing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Communication: Act as the central contact for all issues related to Mainframe and Cloud Security within the global offensive security team. Provide clear guidance and support to team members across various regions on complex security challenges and attack methodologies.
  • Standards and Procedures Development: Create, document, and uphold detailed standards and procedures for securing Mainframe and Cloud environments. Ensure that these documents reflect the latest security practices and technologies.
  • Vulnerability Research: Actively seek out and investigate new vulnerabilities in Mainframe and Cloud platforms. Collaborate with internal teams and external security communities to share insights and formulate mitigation strategies.
  • Conference Representation: Represent WomenTech Network at security conferences as a thought leader. Share insights, disseminate knowledge, and engage with the security community on Mainframe and Cloud security topics.
  • Training and Mentorship: Conduct training sessions for the internal offensive security team to enhance their expertise in Mainframe and Cloud security. Mentor team members to help develop their technical and tactical skills.
  • Consultation: Offer expert advice and support to team members on intricate attack strategies and security challenges. Assist in planning and executing simulated attacks to evaluate and strengthen our defenses.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Required Certifications: CISSP, OSCP, OSEP, OSED.
  • Preferred Certification: OSCE3.
  • Education: A Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: Extensive background in offensive security, particularly with Mainframe and Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Proven track record in identifying and mitigating complex security vulnerabilities. Previous experience presenting at security conferences and leading educational sessions.
  • Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a global team. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential.
