Job Summary
The Senior National Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in driving sales success in the field, launching a new product with a novel mechanism of action. This role is responsible for overseeing the sales team across primary and secondary care, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to design and execute a sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a sales team across the country, working closely with the VP Commercial and internal teams to ensure a successful product launch.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy, promoting the product to targeted healthcare professionals and identified accounts to achieve/exceed business sales targets.
- Work in a matrix ecosystem as part of Syneos Health and the client's EUCAN sales team, being part of the client leadership team and steering committee.
- Understand the client's strategy for product launch, successful uptake of the product, and ongoing sales targets.
- Fulfill legal requirements in country to work in the pharmaceutical industry.
Requirements
- Experience in the biopharmaceutical industry in a sales, marketing, and commercial operations capacity.
- Experience in sales and marketing roles with responsibility for prescription pharmaceutical business.
- Experience in line-management roles within biotech, pharma, or medical device or diagnostics.
- Desired requirements: previous first and second line sales management experience, including product launch, and demonstrable evidence of a leader who strives for a new way of working and holistic customer journey approach.
