About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Beauty Buying Manager to join our Buying team at QVC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and expansion of our brand strategy for the Beauty area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a product strategy for the Beauty category, driving newness and growth by identifying and translating trends with our customer in mind.
  • Foster a curated assortment that aligns with the QVC brand and multiplatform strategy across proprietary and national brands.
  • Oversee the sourcing and management of vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Manage the buying team of respective category in daily activities and tasks.
  • Define strategic team structures to potentialize the business and formulate goals that enable employees to fulfill agreed goals.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of the buying team, following QVC guiding principles.
  • Set short- and long-term goals for the team, following department and business goals.
Requirements
  • Deep experience within a head office buying environment.
  • Ability to act like a business owner, networker, and negotiator, delivering results with speed.
  • Inspire creativity and keep the customer in the center of everything you do.
  • Ability to build diverse teams and inspire greatness by creating a culture of recognition, coaching, and empowering team members.
  • Flair for delivering the right product at the right time to our customer.
  • Excellent English proficiency.
  • Mandatory B2C experience in Beauty.
  • At least 6 years of experience in the Buying field.
  • Interest in Beauty environment.
  • Strategic thinking related to discuss budget definition, reconciliation, and forecast analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
