POSITION OVERVIEW:

ATS is committed to expanding our leading market position and driving sustained growth. The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in advocating and promoting products and services within the ATS Technology and Products division.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a cohesive team responsible for formulating and executing the go-to-market strategy while steering the sales process. You will serve as a customer advocate, facilitating communication between the direct sales team, clients, and operational units. As a customer-centric team, you will provide essential support to service, parts, engineering, manufacturing, and clients to address technical challenges impacting the sales, installation, and use of our products and services.

This role offers flexibility to work remotely or from an ATS location, with travel requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide customer support from the quotation stage to order confirmation.
  • Assist customers throughout the order fulfillment process.
  • Oversee the sales cycle, including contract negotiations to order receipt.
  • Strategically acquire new clients in alignment with company objectives.
  • Contribute to the preparation of order-related preliminary calculations.
  • Process and prepare customer orders for project management teams.
  • Deliver personalized support to key clients.
  • Develop and deliver product presentations in collaboration with various departments.
  • Monitor sales-related metrics, analyze discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Identify market trends and customer needs to uncover additional business opportunities.
  • Perform other related tasks as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Italian.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and capability to operate independently.
  • Comprehensive industry knowledge and understanding of customer needs.
  • Experience with capital goods projects.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Solid grasp of automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with robotics and automation is advantageous.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
