Business Development Manager, Italy Market

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to contribute to our market strategy approach in Italy.
As a key member of the Distribution team, you will develop and execute the go-to-market proposition for AXA XL in Italy, driving business growth and nurturing partnerships with clients and brokers.
Your mission is to support business development by granting high-profile client relationship experience and managing ongoing commercial clients' portfolios.
The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge or proven experience in the insurance sector, proficiency in Italian and English, and a data-driven approach to the market.
You will report to the Head of Distribution & Market Strategy, Italy, and be responsible for customer management, including independently managing accounts, using industry and customer data analysis, and expanding existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage.
In addition, you will maintain partnership with the underwriting department, liaise with colleagues, and research industry knowledge of developing trends regarding underwriting, appetite, and pricing changes.
We offer an estimated salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a dynamic work environment that values inclusion and diversity.
A successful candidate will demonstrate systematic approach to business, analytical skills in building and executing ad-hoc business plans, and effective communication and relations skills to interact with C-Level internal and external professionals.
