Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing preliminary solutions and technical and commercial offers in the areas of electrical High Voltage Substation service, FACTS Service, advanced Services, predictive maintenance, smart solution, and digital improvements of the electrical assets of the High Voltage Grid Business Plan.

Responsibilities
  1. Service Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the Service Manager to implement Service sales strategy, penetrate Installed Base, promote various upgrade, retrofit, and value-add solutions to the benefit of the customer.
  2. Service Sales Lead Generation: Generate Service sales lead and develop new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring potential new service portfolios.
  3. Customer Relationship Management: Establish long-term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM).
  4. Installed Base Data Management: Implement a lean Installed Base data management strategy, interconnected with existing tools and tools being developed. Define processes and automate IB data capture to the extent possible.
  5. Risk Assessment and Quality Control: Contribute to risk assessments related to price and quality. Register required information into the appropriate customer database. Ensure technical reliability, safety, and cost-effective solutions to satisfy customer needs.

Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical/Energy/Mechanical/Automation/Electronic Engineering.
  2. Language Skills: Good knowledge of written/spoken English and Italian.
  3. Software Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  4. Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good analytical skills, proactivity, and customer-oriented mindset.
