Senior Director of Sales for API Solutions

Job Overview
Tevapharm is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Senior Director of Sales for API Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for defining customer and market strategies, managing commercial business, and identifying new growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve expected sales performance
- Work closely with the business analyst to map the market and identify new growth opportunities
- Build relationships and business with new clients in the relevant region assigned
- Increase win rate with clients
- Routine follow-up on any sticky receivables to maximize cash flow
- Close follow-up with procurement teams at the customers' to build a healthy order book and manage pipeline seedings
- Work closely with TAPI supply chain coordinators, product management team & CX team to ensure a seamless commercial experience for customers
- Regular travel to ensure top-of-mind awareness about TAPI by customers & ensure familiarity with the TAPI product basket
- Maintain a high level of relationship with customers
- Be available as a point of contact for customers whenever needed for any project
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure optimal customer support
Requirements
- 10+ years in B2B Pharma API sales in Europe, having experience in the US market would be an advantage
- Pertinent professional education: Undergrad/Master of Science in Chemistry or related technical background; MBA preferable
- Well-informed about emerging trends in the API landscape and the ability to identify opportunities of varied kinds
- Strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking
- Strong relationship management skills
- Strong leadership skills and capabilities
- Executive presence with proven ability to influence others
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization
- Strong strategic agility and business acumen
- Be able to travel internationally up to 50%
