Job Overview


Tevapharm is seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Senior Director of Sales for API Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for defining customer and market strategies, managing commercial business, and identifying new growth opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve expected sales performance
  • Work closely with the business analyst to map the market and identify new growth opportunities
  • Build relationships and business with new clients in the relevant region assigned
  • Increase win rate with clients
  • Routine follow-up on any sticky receivables to maximize cash flow
  • Close follow-up with procurement teams at the customers' to build a healthy order book and manage pipeline seedings
  • Work closely with TAPI supply chain coordinators, product management team & CX team to ensure a seamless commercial experience for customers
  • Regular travel to ensure top-of-mind awareness about TAPI by customers & ensure familiarity with the TAPI product basket
  • Maintain a high level of relationship with customers
  • Be available as a point of contact for customers whenever needed for any project
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure optimal customer support

Requirements

  • 10+ years in B2B Pharma API sales in Europe, having experience in the US market would be an advantage
  • Pertinent professional education: Undergrad/Master of Science in Chemistry or related technical background; MBA preferable
  • Well-informed about emerging trends in the API landscape and the ability to identify opportunities of varied kinds
  • Strong negotiation skills and analytical thinking
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Strong leadership skills and capabilities
  • Executive presence with proven ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization
  • Strong strategic agility and business acumen
  • Be able to travel internationally up to 50%
