We are seeking a Product Manager to join our Transmission Division. This division provides cutting-edge solutions for High Voltage Underground and Submarine cable connections in some of the most demanding environments globally. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a diverse and dynamic team.

Overall Purpose of the Role

  • Assist the HVDC Product Manager in managing a cohesive Product Portfolio aligned with the Company’s growth objectives.
  • Drive the development and commercialization of Product offerings.
  • Identify and cultivate technical and commercial opportunities during the pre-ITT/FEED phases.
  • Country of Operation: ITALY (subject to change based on business needs).
  • Global Responsibility: Worldwide.
  • Customer Profile: TSO, Developers, O&G Operators, and Utilities.

Team Overview and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with Customers during pre-ITT/FEED phases to enhance understanding of requirements and prepare a techno-economic analysis of various transmission solutions.
  • Collecting Market Data, conducting Competitive Analysis, and benchmarking against competitors.
  • Maintaining professional and technical expertise while participating in industry-related events.
  • Supporting the HVDC Product Manager in guiding internal stakeholders on expectations and identifying R&D projects aligned with the Company strategy.
  • Providing product guidance and information to Sales Managers and sharing relevant market data and competitive analysis with the team.
  • Collaborating with relevant functions to translate Customer requirements into viable and value-added proposals.
  • Reviewing prepared product costs and advising on market pricing levels.
  • Participating in Tender Review Meetings, Tender Price Approval meetings, and internal Kick-off Meetings as required.
  • Overseeing the entire Product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
  • Assisting the HVDC Product Manager in evaluating product performance and identifying gaps while maintaining a Product Roadmap.

Travel Requirements: Frequent worldwide travel may be necessary, potentially up to 40% of working time.

Who We Are Looking For:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Material, Energy, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Technical expertise in HVDC Systems (system configurations, main components, operations, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of Business and Marketing principles (macroeconomics, cost/price structures, financial metrics).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Engineering/Technical roles within the Energy Sector.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a target-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Submarine and HV cable business/market is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Technical and Commercial presentation skills.
  • Adaptability and capability to manage changes effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • IT proficiency: MS Office, Project planning tools, and Presentation software expertise.
