Job Overview

Lotus Bakeries is seeking a highly skilled Regional Account Manager to develop and implement an account plan in line with the company's strategy and build a strong commercial relationship with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the company's brand strategy at the customer level by means of growth pillars, shelf management, promotions, and displays.
  • Implement national marketing initiatives that contribute to the growth of Lotus Bakeries volumes.
  • Optimize return on budget and resources.
  • Monitor and manage administrative, logistical, or financial issues encountered by customers in close consultation with the sales assistant.
  • Develop and implement a profitable price, packaging, and promotional strategy.
  • Manage customer relationships and contracts to achieve commercial objectives and make responsible choices regarding budget and resources.
  • Collaborate with Category Management to develop and implement key leverages that enable business growth.
  • Work closely with field sales to translate range and promotional initiatives into clear KPIs.
  • Build and maintain an effective network within the FMCG market.
  • Analyze and translate relevant market data.
  • Build sustainable customer relationships, leveraging strong analytical skills, pro-active thinking, and a hands-on mentality.
  • Communicate commercial information to internal or external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor or Master) in an economic direction.
  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG experience.
  • Knowledge of Italian trade structure and Italian Retail.
  • Understanding of Sales Process dynamics.
  • Good knowledge of IRI/GFK Execution.
  • Affinity with numbers.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Italian, good understanding of English (written and spoken).
  • Based in or around Naples, willing to travel most of the time (70%).
