As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead all closing, accounting, and reporting for the region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with operational reporting timelines.
- Ensure adherence to Eaton Policies, US GAAP, SOX, and local statutory/tax compliance requirements.
- Oversee statutory reporting and serve as a corporate representative on statutory boards when applicable.
- Collaborate with Operations to execute business strategies and enhance operational understanding.
- Support strategic projects including tax, restructuring, M&A activities, payroll, and system implementations.
- Drive optimization through the standardization, simplification, and automation of financial processes.
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative high-performance work environment.
- Ensure budget compliance and maintain a cost-effective organization.
- Support all statutory, tax, customs, and internal audits while maintaining ethical standards.
- Degree in Accounting / Finance, Master's Degree (professional qualification) is preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting, Finance.
