Our Team

We are a big family in love with good food, and we are looking for talented students and new graduates to join our Central Supply Chain team. As a key player in the team, you will be provided with a real-world experience and the opportunity to build expertise and be exposed to several competences within the Purchasing team.

Internship Overview

The purpose of the internship is to introduce you to Barilla Group by working alongside talented professionals to contribute to a challenging, exciting, and rewarding project in the Purchasing area. You will take part in the development and implementation of the Vendor Portal, a platform aimed at digitalizing and improving Barilla's relationship with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and guide suppliers in using the platform and verify the completeness of information entered into the platform;
  • Invite suppliers to use the platform and monitor their onboarding on the tool;
  • Be a reference point for, interact with, and train the buyers in using correctly the platform;
  • Develop reporting KPIs and monitor the progress of the project;
  • Coordinate the updates with the other business functions;
  • Analyse the problems happened to suppliers and buyers and suggest solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for 2nd year students of Master's degree in Engineering, Economics & Management, Agronomy, Food Science & Technology (and other similar studies) interested in a curricular internship to write their thesis or new graduates interested in an extracurricular internship. You should have:

  • Excellent academic background;
  • Study or work experience abroad (nice to have);
  • Fluent English and Italian;
  • Strong organisational skills: ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to communicate effectively, solid presentation skills;
  • Ability to work in a team.
