Overview


Datalogic, a global leader in the automatic data capture and factory automation markets, is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join its Data Capture DACH Sales Team.



Job Description


This key role involves managing a portfolio of major strategic accounts in the retail and logistics industries, driving revenue growth, and enhancing business relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating with designated clients to achieve sales targets, ensure customer satisfaction, and establish enduring partnerships.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Customer Interface: Be the preferred point of contact for customers in the manufacturing and transport logistics industry, leveraging expertise in Auto ID solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Establish long-term relationships with customers and partners across all organizational layers.
  • Solution Selling: Position Datalogic's offerings to meet customer needs, providing high-level inputs on customer requirements to Industry and Product Marketing Managers.
  • Lead Management: Identify, classify, and manage leads/opportunities/alliances, assigning the right priority to sales activities and working closely with customers.
  • Technical Support: Engage the Datalogic Technical Community to address special product requests and prioritize customer technical support activities.
  • Product Launches: Contribute to product launches and field marketing activities.
  • Sales Performance: Meet sales assigned quotas.


Requirements



  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or business administration with affinity for IT-related businesses or equivalent experience.
  • Languages: Native German, fluent English.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills; strong drive to success, team player attitude, interpersonal abilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Tech Knowledge: Experience in POS/Retail ICT, proactivity, willingness to travel within DACH.

Salary Information


We offer a competitive salary ranging from €80,000 to €110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a comprehensive health insurance plan, generous paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
