Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled software engineers to contribute to the development and maintenance of our next-generation video intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated and experienced developers, as we strive to set industry benchmarks.

Your Role

As a software developer, you will gain exposure to a range of technologies, including:

  • Management of connected devices
  • Processing and analysis of advanced multimedia and sensor data
  • Real-time networked embedded systems
  • Web technologies and camera systems
  • Integration of business systems and user interface design

Are you prepared to tackle frontend development challenges and contribute to the evolution of our microservices architecture?

You will be part of a team working on high-throughput video applications, sharing resources between cloud and embedded systems, under local supervision with regular feedback on your work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality UX/UI and backend solutions
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement top-tier features
  • Work with cross-functional teams to bring your projects to fruition
  • Assist in resolving customer-reported issues
  • Research new technologies and innovate to solve complex challenges
  • Share your expertise with colleagues and newcomers
  • Contribute to significant projects and high-level design strategies
  • Support management in delivery-related tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Minimum of two to three years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in .NET (C#) development using MS-Visual Studio & WPF
  • Strong understanding of responsive UI design principles
  • Familiarity with Web Services / SOAP / REST architectures
  • Experience with Software Version Control Systems (e.g., Git, Subversion)
  • Knowledge of C++ development is a plus
  • Experience in an Agile development environment (SCRUM)
  • Understanding of Test Automation best practices and frameworks
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented design and design patterns
  • Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of networking protocols and tools (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP)
  • Familiarity with HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and related technologies
  • Experience with cloud frameworks (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Understanding of design patterns and languages such as UML
  • Experience with microservice architectures
  • Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with media streaming services and codecs
