Procurement Specialist

Trevi Group is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of:

BUYER

The selected candidate will integrate into the Procurement team, taking charge of evaluating both domestic and international sourcing markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement process for designated goods and/or services, adhering to the purchasing strategies and policies established by the Procurement Manager.
  • Administer contracts, negotiate pricing, and establish purchasing terms and conditions with assigned suppliers.
  • Track price fluctuations of materials and components within their scope of responsibility.
  • Assist in the enhancement of the supplier network, aiming to identify more advantageous procurement opportunities.
  • Engage in cost-saving initiatives such as resource optimization and design-to-cost strategies.
  • Manage the purchase order workflow in accordance with requests received, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address issues related to quality, projects, and deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably within engineering firms.
  • Proficiency in technical drawing, manufacturing processes, and cost estimation techniques.
  • Experience in procuring metal components according to specifications (including machined parts, carpentry, and castings).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Excellent negotiation abilities, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Competence in budgeting and reporting.
