Join Amazon's Team as a Public Sector Sr. Account Manager

Amazon Web Services is expanding its presence in Central America and the Caribbean, and we're looking for a seasoned Sr. Account Manager to help us build strong relationships with Public Sector customers in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the Public Sector market. They will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing account plans, and creating compelling value propositions around AWS services.

We're looking for a self-starter who is passionate about cloud adoption and has a proven track record of success in sales. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a creative thinker, and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive revenue growth and market share in a defined territory and industry vertical.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account/territory plans.
  • Create articulate and compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  • Accelerate customer adoption and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
  • Strong sales experience in the Public Sector market.
  • Deep understanding of cloud adoption and AWS services.
  • Proven track record of success in sales and account management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
