We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive sales of our Building Management Systems (BMS) solutions to industrial clients in Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and marginality targets for BMS solutions in the industrial sector
  • Identify and engage with new potential clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored BMS solutions
  • Conduct outcome-based product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the benefits of our BMS offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, project management, and customer support, to ensure cross-selling opportunities and positive project delivery
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close sales deals
  • Manage opportunities through relevant JCI systems and in adherence to sales process (including periodic forecast and non-financial reporting to management)
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients throughout the sales process
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the Building Management System or industrial automation sector
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong technical knowledge of BMS solutions and their applications in industrial environments, including traditional automation strategies (HVAC, utilities, lighting, etc.) and outcome-based offerings linked to Sustainability (energy monitoring and management, decarbonization initiatives, equipment performance tracking, predictive maintenance, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • High business acumen and understanding of corporate financial principles
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • English fluency both verbal and written
  • Willingness to travel as required
