Job Description

RWE Renewables Italia S.r.l. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Engineering Lead to support the growth of its Italian Renewables activities. As a key member of the PE Europe South team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in delivering design engineering for development and construction projects, with a focus on plant optimization and future technical advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in delivering design engineering for development and construction projects
  • Prepare and review concept and basic engineering designs for BoP, including geotechnical investigation, access, reticulation, grid connection, and electrical infrastructure
  • Prepare and review execution BoP designs, reports, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with national and international standards
  • Support the preparation of regulatory plans and administrative files for wind, solar PV, and hybrid projects
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Italian Development, Construction, and Operations departments, as well as with the global Engineering Communities of Practice within RWE Renewables and RWE Technology International

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical, civil, mechanical, industrial engineering, or similar
  • Several years of relevant working experience in project engineering disciplines in renewables
  • Strong commercial judgment and ability to solve complex technical issues
  • Strong understanding of Italian and international standards associated with engineering
  • Strong HSE commitment and ability to ensure the highest level of environmental, health, and safety in all design aspects
