Job Summary

IQVIA Safety Operations is seeking a Medical Information Specialist with expertise in Maltese and English language to join our team. As a key member of our safety operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and consumers regarding adverse events, product quality complaints, and medical inquiries.
  • Process lifecycle safety operational data, perform data entry, and code medical terminology.
  • Generate queries pertinent to cases, perform quality control, drive case closure, and coordinate translations.
  • Build a positive team environment and provide training and mentoring to less experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify issues and propose solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Life Science.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English (C1) and Maltese language (C2/native).
  • Experience in lifecycle safety (Pharmacovigilance, CEVA, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management, etc.) is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy maintaining consistently high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
