About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager Public Sales to join our team at Sysmex Europe GmbH. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving commercial success in the assigned territory, aligning with our company strategy and marketing plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Pre-Sales and Customer Engagement Activities: Develop and execute account strategies to drive Sysmex business growth in the assigned territory.
  • Meet Sales Objectives and Key Commercial Metrics: Achieve sales targets and key commercial metrics at both account and territory levels.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Identify and analyze key market trends and changes in purchasing behavior to improve forecast accuracy and optimize resource planning.
  • Account Planning and Management: Create account plans to drive commercial success and long-term engagement with key stakeholders by leveraging deep knowledge of the account and the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Sales Opportunities and Solutions Development: Identify sales opportunities and develop tailored solutions together with marketing, application, and service teams.
  • Tender Process and Strategic Selling: Take ownership of the tender process, coordinating all resources involved in tender preparation and offering, and apply strategic selling methodologies to identify decision-makers, understand needs, and articulate the value of Sysmex solutions.
  • Internal Relationships and CRM Management: Maintain effective internal relationships by engaging with relevant individuals and functions and mobilizing the right resources to drive commercial success, and trace the sales process and activities by maintaining updated information on the CRM system.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Medical Sciences or equivalent.
  • Business Management Qualification: Business Management qualification would be a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Professional Experience
  • General Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the IVD industry in sales and marketing functions.
  • Professional Experience for the Position: Excellent oral and written communication skills, including making impactful presentations, negotiation, and tender management.
