About the RoleAs a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of U-Haul, providing top-notch service to our customers while ensuring their needs are met. You will work closely with our team to resolve customer inquiries, provide product information, and facilitate equipment rentals. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will make you a valuable asset to our team.
Responsibilities- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing personalized support and solutions.
- Manage rentals and inventory using smartphone-based U-Scan technology.
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Answer customer questions and educate them on products and services, promoting U-Haul's exceptional service.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane tanks, promoting a safe and efficient rental experience.
- Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University, staying up-to-date on products, services, and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
- A competitive hourly rate of $14.20 - $15.62.
