Job Title: Fleet and Depot Planner

At Alstom, we're committed to creating a more sustainable and connected world. As a Fleet and Depot Planner, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our train maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and schedule depot maintenance activities to ensure maximum efficiency and priority.
  • Monitor and report on depot maintenance activities, identifying and addressing any delays or issues.
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure they're informed about scheduled time slots and any changes.
  • Interface with maintenance team leaders, retrofit teams, engineering teams, and external company teams to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities on all trains in the workshop, adhering to fixed time slots and planning meetings.
  • Maintain a general overview of crucial spare parts availability and inform the team accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date on workshop infrastructure status, including special tools required for maintenance activities.
  • Monitor production team workload to ensure optimal saturation and make adjustments as needed.
  • Manage extraordinary planning meetings as required and verify compliance with scheduled departure and arrival times in Nola Depot.
  • Translate production and commercial service issues into working orders and ensure updated planning information is disseminated throughout the workshop in real-time.
  • Attend daily planning meetings and update whiteboards with scheduled maintenance slots.
  • Interface with the Supply Chain team to ensure necessary spare parts are available and use Indus evaluation KPIs to optimize production workload.
  • Report on special activities, delays, and root causes, analyzing issues to improve future performance.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or professional qualifications in technical areas.
  • English mandatory, French preferred.
  • Experience in process supervision and management, with a background in a production environment.
  • Railway and train system knowledge is a plus, as is maintenance process expertise.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make decisions and prioritize tasks under pressure.
