The Role

The Grocery Partner Operations Manager is a newly created role in the Italy Commercial team, responsible for ensuring Deliveroo's position as a leader in the Grocery market. You will be at the forefront of ensuring the smooth running of our delivery operations associated with all our partner segments, combining data-driven approaches and feedback from the field.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Become a subject matter expert on Deliveroo operations, particularly Grocery players operations.
  2. Manage the interests of customers, partners, and riders in every decision you take.
  3. Breathe the marketplace and go on the ground to face operational challenges and best practices.
  4. Influence commercial stakeholders and partners to provide best-in-class operations.
  5. Proactively find areas for improvement, be innovative in seeking the best solution, and execute in a timely and considered manner.
  6. Strengthen the ways of working and relationships between Commercial, Ops, and Care teams.
  7. Be the voice of Italy for Grocery ops product development and integrations.
  8. Be accountable for Grocery P&L impact.
  9. Take business priorities into account to lead project work to a very high standard.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of Project management & Operations experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders in a structured and logical way.
  • Influencer - able to rally a team behind an idea and get stakeholders (both internal and external) to buy in to your ideas.
  • Analytical - Able to identify the relevant information required to make a decision and present that information in a concise, logical manner.
  • Communication - Able to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders, influence, and attain the requisite buy in.
  • Inquisitive - Curious and happy to question the status-quo.
  • Organized - Always deliver the right work at the right time.
  • Track record of 'getting it done' - Operational knowledge of the business and how it works today. Know when you have enough insight to make-a-call and take rapid high-quality decisions.
