Job Overview

As a Financial Strategy Manager, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate the financial outcomes of your designated area and ensure the economic viability of its operations.

Your role will encompass:

  • Scrutinizing and overseeing the monthly Profit and Loss statements of your area
  • Delivering the necessary analysis to formulate an annual budget and track its variance against the P&L
  • Conducting financial assessments and projections
  • Evaluating the profitability of specific business lines or projects and recommending actions to maintain or enhance profit margins
  • Assisting in determining the variable compensation for management
  • Aiding in the preparation of financial reports for the Board of Directors
  • Supervising and managing structured project provisions
  • Overseeing cash management and monitoring invoicing processes
  • Collaborating and coordinating with other finance departments: treasury, controlling, accounting, invoicing, and staff divisions: HR, Management, and Directors
  • Leading a business controller and potentially junior Financial Planning Analysts

Ideal Candidate Profile:

You should have a successful background in finance and be seeking a challenging opportunity for advancement.

You possess or are:

  • A graduate with a Master's degree
  • Previous experience of 3-4 years in a comparable role (corporate finance, controlling, financial analysis...)
  • Experience in team leadership
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with skills in creating PowerPoint presentations and financial modeling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects
  • Fluent in English
  • Familiar with generative AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance daily productivity
