We are in search of a committed (junior) Accounts Payable Clerk to become part of our vibrant EMEA Finance team, filling in for maternity leave. This role offers the chance to engage in various functions within general Treasury and Accounts Payable, utilizing platforms such as Sage and Zucchetti to guarantee precise recording of financial transactions and adherence to established standards and regulations. You will be welcomed into a collaborative team of 5, where a busy yet enjoyable work atmosphere is fostered. This position is designed for approximately 12 months, featuring a hybrid work model that allows for 2 days in the office and 3 days working remotely, making it a perfect fit for individuals early in their careers seeking fresh challenges.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Overseeing daily bank transactions and accounting activities
  • Conducting bank and cash reconciliations
  • Maintaining a daily record of cash and bank transactions
  • Processing daily payments and managing supplier transactions
  • Verifying and executing customer refunds
  • Contributing to monthly closing processes and preparing financial reports
  • Ensuring all payment documentation is properly supported and authorized
  • Managing expense reports via Concur
  • Accounting for Commission Payments to Partners, including tax payments, VAT, declarations, and monthly summaries
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a comparable Finance Specialist position
  • AFM qualification
  • Proficiency in both SAGE and ZUCCHETTI software
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and autonomy
  • Native Italian speaker with fluent English proficiency
  • Proactive and self-directed work ethic
