About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Excellence Manager to join our team at BYD Europe. As a key member of our Sales Training Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our Italian customer-facing teams are fully skilled and equipped to deliver consistently outstanding and meaningful customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Sales Training Programs

Design, develop, and deliver high-quality sales training programs for our digital, retail, and dealer-based sales teams, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors to deliver excellence at every stage of our customer journey.

Adapt and Implement Training Master Plan

Adapt the EU Training Master Plan (TMP) to meet the specific needs of the Italian market, ensuring seamless integration with our global training initiatives.

Manage Training Database and Reporting

Manage the database of market dealer staff in Learning Platforms and Tools, tracking and recording all training interventions conducted in the market, and providing monthly training reports as required.

Collaborate with Stakeholders

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, subject matter experts, and training coordination teams to determine training needs, identify, build, and implement training solutions based on TMP.

Provide Performance Coaching

Provide ad-hoc performance coaching for teams and individual team members as necessary, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements
  1. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in automotive, marketing, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a customer-focused training/coaching team or organization.

Language Skills

Excellent Italian and English language skills, with knowledge of other European languages and/or Chinese a plus.

Skills and Qualifications

Excellent coaching, training, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of positive influence in teams. In-depth knowledge and passion about the history, brands, products, and technologies of the European automotive industry.

Travel Requirements

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, mainly in the retail network of Italy and with regular visits to BYD European HQ.
