Italian Sales Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Excellence Specialist to join our team at BYD Europe. As a key member of our Sales Training Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our Italian customer-facing teams are fully skilled and equipped to deliver consistently outstanding and meaningful customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Training Program Development: Adapt and optimize sales training materials and content to meet the specific needs of the Italian market, ensuring that our digital, retail, and dealer-based sales teams have the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors to deliver excellence at every stage of our customer journey.
- Training Delivery: Develop and execute high-quality and impactful sales training for each of our New Energy Vehicle (NEV) models available in Europe, utilizing a range of delivery methods including in-person and virtual online training.
- Regional Training Partner: Assume the role of Regional Training Partner for Italy, working closely with the sales, network development, and relevant teams in the NSC to ensure seamless coordination and execution of training initiatives.
- Training Coordination: Manage the database of market dealer staff in Learning Platforms and Tools, collaborating with the Training Coordination Team to ensure effective training delivery and tracking.
- Training Needs Analysis: Work with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine training needs and quickly identify, build, and implement training solutions based on the Training Master Plan.
- Training Reporting: Track and record all training interventions conducted in the market, providing monthly training reports in a timely manner for centralized Europe-wide reporting.
- External Agency Collaboration: Search for, control, and advise on possible external agencies for collaboration in development, execution, or consultancy.
- Performance Coaching: Provide ad-hoc performance coaching for teams and individual team members as necessary.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in automotive, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3 years' experience in a customer-focused training/coaching team or organization.
- Language Skills: Excellent Italian and English language skills, with knowledge of other European languages and/or Chinese a plus.
- Skills: Excellent coaching, training, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of positive influence in teams.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge and passion about the history, brands, products, and technologies of the European automotive industry.
- Digital Tools: Familiarity with digital tools such as the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe creative tools, and the ability to create/optimize digital/F2F content to support the Training Master Plan.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, mainly in the retail network of Italy and with regular visits to BYD European HQ.
