The Role of Director of Revenue:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our Revenue Management department and developing strategies to maximize revenue growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Revenue Management department and develop strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, manage inventory, and analyze market trends to maximize revenue.
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing to implement and execute optimal revenue strategy.
- Oversee the Reservation department and lead a team of revenue management professionals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel management, sales and marketing teams, and revenue management systems providers.
- Monitor and analyze business analytics to inform revenue management decisions.
- Develop and implement revenue management systems and tools to optimize revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market and customer preferences.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in revenue management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in Revenue Management, preferably in a luxury hospitality company.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving financial targets.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High energy level, exceptional people skills, and enthusiasm for the global hospitality business.
- Proficiency in English language, additional language is a plus.
- Expert system experience – RMS, PMS, Benchmarking and BI Tools.
